New Years Eve

Hello!! First of all i hope everyone had a lovely christmas and you all have something fun planned for tonight!!!
Been away from my blog as i dont have internet at home just yet, apparantly it will reconnected on the 2nd but i'm not holding my breath!
New years eve!! mental, i really dont know where this year has gone!
Well Crimbo was good apart from having a massive cold!!! I got a New laptop which i love sooo much, being on a PC at work is so different i get confused lol!!

Not much has been going on really, just stuck at work wanting to go home as there is still no one in. I dontthink any one is back until the 2nd which i think is sencible really!

We have a gig tonight entertaining the masses which should be good fun!

Friday!

I've just deleted a whole page of what i had written. Argh!!!! Well i guess now you get the shorter version of my strop.

I'm mad because i have to work until 5 on monday. Now i wouldnt be bothered if networkrail were all staying too but they are getting sent home at 2! My flipping company have to stay. This sucks and i really cannot believe that people would do this the day before christmas.

Ba-humbug the lot of them.

Gigs this weekend which should cheer me up but i just cant seem to get my arse in gear and brighten up. It must be my hormones.

Snow!

Well its sort of snowing here today... not much but a little... which is really good for England! maybe we will have that white Christmas after all!
Anyway i didn't post again yesterday as surprise surprise they fixed the fault with the programme. Wonderful i had to do some work! well lots of it!
Any way, did all my Christmas shopping yesterday and most of it is now wrapped up and under the tree!! exciting although i notice there is still nothing for me under there! lol!
Last night i went to see my mate Tiff do her thing at he r jam session, she an amazing musician, she can play anything and sing anything pretty amazing! So i went down there. Our mate Danny is back from London too which is cool hes only home until Saturday as he is going to Scotland for Christmas with his mum and family so I'm sure he will be round my house by the time i finish work tonight! Any way my boss is in reading today so her big boss has decided to come and work from Swindon today so i guess i had better do some work and be on best behaviour!! whatever that is lol! Wednesday pensday

Yes that is what sort of mood i am in today. A small child! I'm quite surprised really seeing as we didnt get in until quarter to one this morning! Jam was ok we did a bit of practice first then we started the jam. We then chilled out had a listen to the other players, i went upstairs to watch the telly coz i was so tired. I cam back on and we played a couple of songs to finish off the Jam! I have never seen mick pack down as quick as he did last night, i think he was worried because i had to get up for work and i was miserable all day yesterday! Today unfortunatly the programme that i work on is down. I must say that i am so gutted not to be able to do any work!
YEAH RIGHT!!! This is heven!!

Tuesday

Today i am shattered, i can feel a cold coming on and its typical as i have a very busy weekend!!!
I hate feeling like this, i really cant be bothered to sit here and work! anyway! went and saw my sister in last night which was lovely we found out that this week the baby will start to hear things from inside her so everyone is on best behaviour! ha ha yeah right!
Me and mick had a nice night when we got home, he was holding my hand on the sofa and then he fell asleep and his hand was twitching and then his hand was painting which was really weird! he doesnt remember it though!!

Argh! such a busy week ahead we have 4 gigs this weekend which means 4 nights of partying with diferent people! should be fun but some of us (IE ME!!!) have t o work christmas eve before i go and do my last gig of the weekend which wont finish until gone Midnight. I get to the first moments of Christmas day with my boys from the band so i guess that isnt so bad.

Go rehersal tonight and then a Jam session straight after which we are organising so i dount i will be home at a decent hour again... Mick did say he would take me home if i got tired though but it would mean going to bed without him which for some reason i just cant get my head round!

Anyway i shall update you all on the nights happenings tomorrow!!!

The weekend wasn't so good...

Hello... Had a pretty poo weekend really... Friday night was nice, me and Mick sat and had a chinese from tescos and an early night as we were both completely shattered. Saturday i went shopping and my mum phoned me to tell me my uncle had passed away at 2 so i was in a bit of shock. Had a gig to do saturday night so i just got hammered! think the gig was alright... I went and saw my mum sunday and she seemed to be ok but shes a bit worried about my nan as the only time shes spoke to her she was hammered too. I guess we all deal with are emotions the same. Any way on a more positive note, i know he's not in pain any more so thats a really great thing.

For everyones humor i did go to tescos yesterday and decided that i wasnt getting dressed i was going in my pyjamas and slippers, got some right weird looks but hey its the weekend i'll wear what i like...

Any way i will hopefully have something better to write about tomorrow so i will write again then.

Its been a while...

It been a few months since i last wrote here, I've been reading so many other peoples blog from around the world and its really inspired me to start writing mine again!
Well I'm still in the same job, the smelly security guard did eventually get the sack! so things were a bit difficult for a bit but have eventually got back to normal.
We've had some good news lately, Micks got a lot of steady work coming in which is good, his sister has found out she is having a baby in June which is amazing news and we are so excited! we can be Auntie and Uncle!
Gigs have been going well coming in nice and steadily for next year which is a good sign, and we have a lot over the next few weeks due to it being Christmas! i cant moan though as the money is going to cover the rent and bills until the end of January!
My friend got kicked out of her band and they are now trying to give her a raw deal for her royalties which i think is bang out of order considering she wrote all of the music for the songs. Oh well I'm sure she will get it sorted as she knows what she wants and what she is entitled too.

I'm so bored today all the people on my floor are on there christmas partys so i believe it is just myself and ten other people here which really makes the time go slow!!!

Oh yeah I'm 21 now, had the most amazing birthday and was soooooo spoilt!! I love it!

Anyway i am just rambling on now so i will update after the weekend with any drama or excitement which might (Doubt) will happen.

A new job

Well, im writing this quite late today as i have been training all morning! Its really great over here, its just a shame that certain people are giving me grief for coming over her which is starting to upset me now.
Had a nice night last ngiht, went out to his rehearsal and i just sat and had a drink! well actually i managed 3 pints of carling! no wondered i struggled to get up this morning!
Not sure what we are up to tonight, saving the pennys i imagine as rent was due to be payed yesterday and i still havent paid it seeing as my agency still havent got around to sorting out my pay. Never mind, im sure it will be sorted by tomorrow or else im going to go mad! argh!
Better do some work now coz im not sure how leiniant they are going to be over here...

Hello! Wow, i have had an amazing morning! I have just found out that i have got a promotion, which is exciting! woo hoo! It's a bit more money too which is what i want it for, people keep trying to put me off going for it but i really want it! so stuff them! Anyway i got rehersal tonight with my other halfs brothers band which will be good fun as there is alcomohol to be drunk lol!
I had a smoke last night, and i couldnt stop giggling for the life of me, i think i'll give that a miss from now on lol! Anyway smelly security guard didnt get the sack he got another warning! which sucks but it doesnt matter as i wont be working with him anymore! woo woo!!!

Monday hangover...

My head is pounding, we did a gig last night and i said all weekend that i wasnt going to drink as i knew i had work today! i was so sure that i could resist! But we get to the pub, find out we're actually gigging outside under this little shelter in the rain(!!!!!!) and decide that i must go and take the staff up on the special offer of £2 for a pint of kronenberg! yum yum!! apart from the drummer i now have in my head it was a really good night!
Generally i've had a good wweekend, the gig on friday was ace! really good sound!
Saturday i went down the pub with my mum and had a few in the afternoon and just chilled out during the night watching the X Factor!
Talking of reality shows, how gutted am i the SaManda didnt win big brother? they Sooooo deserved it!
Any way, i dont think any one is reading this but i am enjoying writing it so im going carry on!
Thats all for today though, i cant think of anything else to say except i think the smelly security guard is about to get the sack! woo hoo!!!

Friday!

Yey! Its friday, works really dead today and i am knackered! Its cool though as we got a last minute gig tonight at the local working mens club which will be a laugh as its only £1.40 for a jack daniels and coke! Any way! Me and the fiance have sorted everything out which is nice and its all back to being lovey dovey again.
Must point out that the security guard at work todays stinks of stale sweat! i cant stand it! really glad i got some air freshner from the PHS blokes this week!

Any way got a nice weekend to look forward too and another gig on sunday to keep the money coming in!
I dont know if anyone is reading this apart from me! so let me know your thoughts if you are reading this lol!

Day One

I've been meaning to do this for a while, as a way to say what im thinking and moan about what i want to moan about...
Basically im 20, female, in a relationship, engaged in fact to a great guy who i truley do love and admire.
The thing is , the bloke i'm engaged to is 46, now i love him dont get me wrong and he has looked after me, helped me when moneys been tight and so on and so forth.
He nagged me to get another job, i was working in a pub everyday and earning, but he kept going on about getting a 9-5 so i did, and i love it. the thing is he seems to think that because im earning he doesnt have to. I dont want to appear selfish but money is so tight now its driving me mad!
Anyway i'll move on!! I'm also in a covers band, we gig around all the town just singing and having a laugh with my friends.

I love my job now i've got into the swing of things. its a great enviroment to work in and i love being a receptionist.

AnyWay i will write again tomorrow if anyone is reading this.
